McMaster High School Heroes Case Study Competition

The N.T.C.I. Business Team competed in the 2023 McMaster High School Heroes Case Study Competition.

Two groups of students competed. Cara Jin, Keerthi Pawar Mamidi, Varshini Shivayogi & Marko Vodopija finished among the Top 10 of all teams & Marko was awarded top presenter for his enthusiasm & skills during the pitch.

Red & Grey Day Returns

Red &. Grey Day – an annual tradition- returns for the first time in two & a half years on Wednesday May 25th.


The event allows students to participate in special events & watch North Toronto sports teams compete.

  • Grade 9s: On field, for Spirit Activities
  • Grade 10s to 12s: In class, prepping door decorating & spirit wear competition (judging in last 20-30 minutes)

Period 2 – 11:05 -11:50

Period 3 – 12:50-1:50

  • In Class: Grade 9s & 12s/li>

Fall Investment Contest Winners

The Finance Club held its first investment contest of the year as part of Junior Achievement’s Investment Simulation Program.

Andrew T. won with a 24.4% return on investment in the month of October. Nikola K. finished second with a return of 11.0%.

DECA Provincials

Forty North Toronto students competed in the DECA Provincial competition and thirteen won certificates because of their placing in the top ten.

Congratulations to Jasmine Lem and Lee-Ashley Keshet for winning their event and qualifying for the International Career Development Conference in April. Their proposal for revitalizing the International Career Development Conference at Yonge St. and Davisville Ave. won the Business Services Operations Research competition. Angela Krstic, Owen Macgowan, Cynthia Zhou and Audrey Gong for earning certificates in their events.

Fall Investment Contest Winners

Forty North Toronto Students Advance to DECA Provincials

Fifty-seven students participated in the Toronto Regionals Competition & forty progressed to the provincial level. Twenty N.T.C.I. events advanced to Provincials.
