The NTCI Robotics Club (Team DeltaTech) focuses on the building and programming of VEX V5 robots in order to participate in VRC competitions in Canada. Students can get hands-on experience by working with peers to design, construct, and program robots to achieve the goals of the competition. Currently, we are preparing for the 2025-2026 VRC competition – Push Back.

Club Activities

Model United Nations (Model UN/MUN) is a popular, academically-related, educational simulation in which students can learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations (UN). In short, students roleplay as delegates representing countries and their respective positions on international topics, and simulate UN committees. Through academic research, discussion, debate, and application of writing, students propose policies and create theoretical resolutions to some of the world’s most pressing issues! Our club typically participates in 1-2 MUN conferences per year, where our delegates have the opportunity to compete in conferences including University of Toronto MUN and Havergal College MUN. Students have the chance to hone their public speaking, debate, and leadership abilities, in addition to the opportunity to earn awards if recognized as a Best Delegate, an Outstanding Delegate or an Honourable Mention.

CLUB DESCRIPTION

French club is dedicated to helping students speak and improve French language skills with or without any past experience. It’s also an opportunity to earn extra credit if you are enrolled in a French course at NT 🙂

The French club promises to offer students opportunities to enrich their knowledge of the French language and culture, and to improve French presence at NTCI.

The Club Heads want you to know: “Linguistic insecurity is real (believe me, I have it too) as well as being shy when it comes to joining and participating in clubs too. We want students to know that the French Club is a safe space to learn and practice French, no matter your skill level. It’s a pressure-free environment for students to have fun, and we hope to have more recruits and people joining our meetings!

Club Description

Welcome to NT’s Choral Ensemble! NT’s choir is led by NT’s own vocal teacher, Ms Buisman, and has traditionally had over 100 student members for the last several years. These students come from the vocal stream, other music streams, and non-music students. If you love music, or just want to meet new people, you are welcome! In past years, we have performed at numerous assemblies, Fall Fare, Maytime Melodies, the Ontario Vocal Festival, MusicFest Nationals, and the Sounds of Toronto concert at Roy Thomson Hall.

In previous years, we have done music from Dear Evan Hansen, Hamilton, The Lion King, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Fame. We have performed songs like “Rise Up” and learned other songs in many different foreign languages! This year we are learning “FIRE” from a set of four works called Elements, as well as several other exciting pieces. Interested to know what else we will sing this year? Join to find out!
