Volunteer Hours Opportunity

Your son/daughter has an opportunity to earn up to 14 hours of community service towards the 40 hours that are required for graduation from secondary school. The event is the “Wonders of the Earth” Show held by the Gem & Mineral Club of Scarborough – non profit organization, and it will be held on Saturday, September 24th, 2022, from

10:00 A.M. to 06:00 P.M. and on Sunday, September 25th, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. to 05:00 P.M. The venue for the show is the Don Montgomery Community Centre. Your son/daughter will be assisting club members and myself with various tasks associated with the show. These tasks include the Kids’ Quarry, live & silent auctions, greeting visitors at the front & back doors, administering visitor surveys, the fluorescent mineral room supervision, and other light duties. Tasks will be assigned as they are required.
