Latin Courses Available Through the Saturday International Languages Program

The Saturday International Languages Program is planning to offer Latin courses again for the 2025–2026 school year (September 27 – May 23). When Latin was first introduced in fall 2021, enough students enrolled to support three levels of study for three years. 

Key Details:

Registration deadline: 10:00 a.m. on September 23, 2025

Who can register: All Ontario high school students

Format: Online (remote learning)

Class time: Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Levels offered: Latin I, II, and III

Instructional approach: Classes will use the Cambridge Latin Course, with breakout rooms to ensure students learn at the appropriate level. Hard copy textbooks will be provided.

These courses are ideal for students whose day schools do not offer Latin, or for those who cannot fit it into their regular timetable.
