Student Opportunity

As part of a research project focused on building more inclusive employment and training services, The Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC), JVS Toronto, WoodGreen Community Services, and research organization Blueprint hosting a paid workshop for newcomers who:
– Are between 16 and 30 years of age
– Live in the Greater Toronto area
– Moved to Canada no more than 10 years ago
– Were at least 13 years old when they moved to Canada
Workshop
Attendees will have the opportunity to share their experiences preparing for employment, looking for work, and/or building their career. They will also collaborate with other young people to develop recommendations that will be shared with the Government of Canada. All attendees will receive $150 in cash to compensate them for their time and expertise.
