On October 25, Ms. Knight and Ms. Biondic’s grade 11 Introduction to Anthropology, Psychology, and Sociology classes visited the Museum of Illusions and O’Noir Restaurant to gain a deeper understanding of psychological concepts connected to in class lessons on sensation, perception and attention. At the Museum of Illusions, students were treated to optical illusions and various logic games. At O’Noir Restaurant, students immersed themselves in a dining experience completely in the dark in order to create a sensory deprivation dining opportunity. Ms. Knight and Ms. Biondic look forward to visiting both of these places again with their SAP classes in semester 2.
