Being active in the NTCI School (Parent) Council is an excellent way for you to get more involved in your child’s education, and more knowledgeable about the community in which that education is taking place.
Each TDSB school has an elected school parent council. Please consult the TDSB website for more information on the role of parent councils in schools.
The NTCI Council holds regular meetings at the school that are open to the NTCI parent community. Meetings typically provide updates from the Principal, school staff, school student council leaders, and school parent council executive members. In addition, the meetings often include a themed presentation with a guest, devoted to a topic of special interest or concern to NTCI parents.
The Council provides financial support to a wide variety of student activities at NTCI. The Council works closely with the NTCI Student Council, the school administration and the staff, to support the NTCI community.
Attending NT Council meetings is an excellent way to keep current on NTCI activities and to meet and share information with other NTCI parents. Please join us at an upcoming meeting.
