Description:
Students will explore the rules of photo composition and portrait photography as they learn to take photos that express meaning and reflect their individual style. The course provides students with access to DSLR cameras in order to support learning the technical skills needed to take effective photos. Students will also learn how to use Adobe Photoshop and other digital apps to manipulate photos, including using filters, using greenscreen photography to insert someone into an existing movie scene, and turning photos into cartoons and poster art.
